The plan for my capstone project is to create an EP of some sort consisting of about 3 or 4 compelling instrumentals that I will make using everything that I have learned about making beats. The two main DAWs that I use to make my beats are Ableton and Band Lab so that won’t change. I plan to focus more on a mix between an upbeat, party type of vibe and a chill, mellow vibe. The use of MIDI will be a huge part of this project as this is how I usually make my beats, but I may also incorporate some one shot sounds in spots where I feel like they fit. The purpose of this project for me is to attract the listener with many different sounds and try to add an element of entertainment to this piece.
