The main idea of my capstone project is to showcase my creativity and variety in music production by making an EP with about 5-7 instrumental tracks. This project aims to span between a lot of different genres of music, showing off versatility as I am also aiming to learn how to compose different types of sounds, tempos, and cadences. I’ve been around music ever since I was seven, singing in church and playing piano, which is why I wanted to try my hand at creating music. I also see this as a way for me to push my limits and get out of my comfort zone. Not only is this a relatively new realm for me, but it is also a way for me to properly format what I want to do with my projects and try new things. Experimentation is the name of the game for me here and I look forward to where this journey takes me.
